The ground in aquarium can be made with sand, gravel, or a mixture of both. Attention must be paid to the needs of fishes. The average gravel should be rounded and a particle size of maximum 2-3mm.
A layer of gravel is recommended to a height of 6-8cm, so that the plants can grow roots sufficiently. Amazonas Gravel offers suitable and natural ground for all fish species and their habitat. The aquarium looks very nice with our colored gravel. Its high-quality plastic coating prevents the color from bleaching; therefore it is also regarded as real light and Co2-resistant.
